Phillip Noyce and his brothers Peter and Michael grew up in the wine growing region of Griffith in the Riverina area of New South Wales and developed an interest in viticulture and wine science at an early age, particularly through their father Bill who was one of the earlier Presidents of the Griffith Wine and Food Society.
Phillip has been directing films since the age of 17 and is now one of Australia's foremost directors. He has won many awards, the most recent being the AFI Best Film Award for his controversial stolen generations story, 'Rabbit Proof Fence'.
Since the Noyce family has been farming in the Wollombi valley, Peter (a Sydney University Medical Graduate and a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons) has become increasingly interested in the science of agriculture and has brought to wine growing a dedication and attention to detail that has complemented perfectly Philip's creativity and flair to produce Noyce Bros unique wines.
Michael Noyce practiced as a lawyer for many years and led his business to achieve national recognition, and a number of Australian Business Excellence Awards. As well as legal qualifications he has a Master of Business Administration, and is a former CEO, Chairman, director and major shareholder of an innovative and pioneering internet based public company.
Michael is now applying the same leadership, energy and entrepreneurial approach to Noyce Brothers as he applied to his former businesses.
